Hammamet, Tunisia

Common Years’ first Community Forming lab: a place to explore before a housing project exists.

What are we testing?

We are not advertising a cohousing project, a property or an existing community. We are testing whether enough compatible people would seriously consider Hammamet and whether some would be open to meeting before a physical project exists.

WHY HAMMAMET

A place before a project.

Existing Italian community

Hammamet already has a meaningful Italian presence and dedicated community services.

Independent living, not assisted living

The Common Years hypothesis starts with private homes, independence and chosen connections — not a care-home model.

Demand comes before supply

If the signal is real, it can help reveal what kind of network, existing place, project or partner would make sense to explore.

IF THE SIGNAL GROWS

From interest to something real, without promising what does not exist.

01Measure

Interest, timing and preferred community style.

02Connect, only if requested

If a small compatible group emerges, any introduction requires consent.

03Explore the form

A light network, an existing place, a partner-led trial experience or a future project: the form comes after demand.

A SMALL DEMAND TEST

Could Hammamet be a possibility for you?

Three questions, no account and no contact details required.

How seriously would you consider it?
What kind of community would feel most natural?
When could it become real?

This is not a property project or a reservation: we are measuring whether a community could form.

Community Forming is a Common Years research experiment. No property availability, pricing or future development is implied.
